Reviews / Endorsements

“Peseroff, a clear-sighted, good-humored poet, has written poems that have the virtues many of her contemporaries strive for: she attains at times an unpredictable, colloquial poetry that adapts the casual, protective comic sense of a generation’s manners to the demands of art.”—Robert Pinsky

JOYCE PESEROFF grew up in New York City and currently lives in Massachusetts. Her other books include A Dog in the Lifeboat, Robert Bly: When Sleepers Awake, and The Ploughshares Poetry Reader. She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, as well as grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Artists Foundation. She has taught in the MFA program at Emerson College and was recently Visiting Professor and Poet-in-Residence at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
