"Lynn Domina's ffirst book of poems has a number of striking virtues: authority of language, a wide variety of subjects and strategies, compelling emotional content, clarity without obviousness, diversity without diffuseness, mystery without vagueness. . .These are carefully crafted, deeply moving poems. They are a great pleasure to read."—Stephen Dobyns, judge

Winner of the Four Way Books Intro Series in Poetry, selected by Stephen Dobyns. An Academy of American Poets Prize (when at the U of Alabama)

LYNN DOMINA grew up in and around Saginaw, MI; she earned a B.A. at Michigan State University, an MFA at The University of Alabama (where she edited The Black Warrior Review), and a Ph.D. in American literature at SUNY/Stony Brook.
