New England-born poet DIANA DER-HOVANESSIAN is the author of fourteen books of poetry and translations. She has won international and national awards and fellowships, including prizes from the Poetry Society of America, the Columbia/PEN Translation Center, and the Massachusetts Arts Council. She is president of the New England Poetry Club and works as a visiting poet and guest lecturer on American poetry, Armenian poetry in translation, and the literature of human rights at various universities. Her poems are often aired on National Public Radio.
