WILLIAM KULIK was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1937. Hunter, gardener, fisherman and cartoonist, he lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Catharine, and their two children, Amy and Alexander. He teaches English at the Community College of Philadelphia.
