Reviews / Endorsements

“Kirschner’s imaginative powers are formidable.”—Floyd Collins, The Gettysburg Review

“Kirschner explores the relationships between wild things in the woods and the mysteries in our own minds and hearts. She plays culture and wilderness against one another in poems that resist current stylistic labels of poetry and surprise our humdrum expectations. These meditations on the human in the natural world open a singular existence to a multitudinous vision.”—Elizabeth Oakes, Willow Springs

ELIZABETH KIRSCHNER’s first collection of poems, Twenty Colors, was published in 1992 by Carnegie Mellon University Press. Her poems have appeared in The Ohio Review, Prairie Schooner, North American Review, Denver Quarterly and many other publications. She teaches at Boston College.
